Writer Paul Cornell has been announced to write the new Summoner Wars comic book series for Battle Quest Comics. The series was featured in Battle Quest Comics' full official September 2026 solicits. Summoner Wars is a popular strategy game being adapted into comic form with Cornell at the helm. This marks another major property making the transition from gaming to sequential art.
