Rachel Pinnelas and Jake Bartok are adapting Stranger Things: The First Shadow—the West End and Broadway prequel play—into graphic novel form. The story follows a young Henry Creel/Vecna in 1959, diving deep into the character's origin before he became the series' most terrifying villain. This marks an interesting move to translate stage storytelling into sequential art, bridging theatrical and comic audiences.
